Classical Ballet
Ballet is the underlying technique to all styles of dance and is the most important discipline for anyone who wishes to take classes.  It is the basis and the core to every dance movement we make.  It helps develop posture, grace, poise, strength and turnout as well as rhythm & co-ordination.  It is the most important discipline and we would advise every parent to encourage their child to consider taking this lesson. Pupils may be entered for ISTD Ballet examinations once they reach the required standard.

Pointe Work - is introduced to the ballet class once the pupil has developed the correct strength & stability in the legs & ankles that is required to hold the body en pointe (on your toes).  Pupils are required to be at least 11years and have reached Grade 4 Standard.
