What Should I Wear? For you FREE trial lesson you do not need to purchase the academy uniform, although some students do prefer
to do this. Something loose fitting is fine such as a T-Shirt & Tracksuit bottoms or a leotard if you already have
one. Bare feet for all classes except Tap where hard-soled shoes should be worn.
Full Academy Uniform
must be purchased within three weeks of commencing classes at the academy.
When Do I Need To Pay? At the first lesson following your trial lesson you will recieve an invoice for classes till the end of the half-term.
Are Parents Allowed To Watch Classes? Parents are not allowed to watch classes as this distracts the children and doesnt enable the teacher to get
the full attention of the class. There is a room close by where parents can wait and also tea/coffee facilities are
available. Pre-School children may have their parent watch their first lesson if they are unsure but we encourage parents
to wait in the changing room if possible so that the children get used to entering the dance hall on their own.
Can I Attend Dance Classes At Another Dance School? Pupils will not be accepted into the Academy if they are already taking dance classes at another
school. Similarly pupils who take classes at the Michelle Sidwell Academy Of Dance are not allowed to take
classes at any other dance school.
